The corporation is organized for the purpose of:

• General: any activity available at law under US Code 501(c)(3) and as may be amended including charitable, benevolent, religious, eleemosynary, patriotic, civic, missionary, educational, scientific, social, fraternal, athletic, aesthetic, agricultural and horticultural; and the conduct of professional, commercial, industrial or trade associations; and animal husbandry; and preventing cruelty to children or animals;

• Solicit donations, grants and contributions from government, public and private sources to support the corporationÕs charitable and philanthropic projects, goals and projects;

• And further defined in part by: charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering national or international amateur sports competition, and the preventing cruelty to children or animals. The term charitable is used in its generally accepted legal sense and includes provide relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged; advancement of religion; advancement of education or science; erecting or maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency;

• To research, develop, implement, and maintain community based land and natural resource management programs and affordable housing,;

• To support research, restoration and maintenance of historical and archaeological sites in the Hawaiian Archipelago;

• To assist the development of self sufficiency through wellness programs and community subsistence homestead planning and agriculture;

• To support environmental research in Hawaii and ecological and/or environmental planning or preservation;

• To develop and support research and a library resource (Hawaii Resource Library) on the internet that fosters, perpetuates, develops, educates and distributes information about Hawaii, including but not limited to its history, people, culture, art as a public forum free of charge to the public;

• To develop and support sailing, surfing and canoe paddling schools,and programs for underprivileged children;

• Support Hawaiian music and artists;

• To provide educational expenses to underprivileged or needy individuals by way of grants and scholarships; and

• The transaction of any or all lawful activities permitted non profit corporations pursuant to federal laws and the Hawai'i Revised Statutes and as amended.

• SAILING CLINIC: Free Sailing programs for:
  • Native Hawaiians
  • Sea Scouts
  • High School sailing team members
  • Kids from 12 to 16 years old

  • Troubled Youth
